A Day In The Life of Oak Park

In January, Viewpoint Gallery will be working with local photography curators to present an exhibit of images documenting a day in the life of the Oak Park neighborhood. Hundreds of amateur and professional photographers spent a day in Oak Park in 2008; the resulting images are moving testimony to the vibrant life of one of our city's oldest neighborhoods.

  1. Dear Webmaster,

I recently discovered your page here:

    http://oakparknow.blogspot.com/

I wanted to let you know that the “ BikerAmento ” link on your site points to a website (www.bikeramento.org) that is no longer working.

Would you please consider replacing it with a link to my website called Biking.com? It is a resource for anything and everything bicycling, cycling and trail riding.

If you think it would be of use to your visitors, would you please consider adding a link to my website on your page.

Here is the HTML link you could add: "http://www.biking.com" Biking.com - the web’s leading biking resource.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

  2. Dustin-
My wife and myself are 30somethings currently in escrow for a house we fell in love with in Oak Park. The house is located at end of Alhambra and 3rd. We love Midtown but could not afford a home we wanted. So, my question to you as a fellow designer, is Oak Park "seeing a Renaissance"? I noticed you have not posted in while yet you seem like an expert regarding this community. I would really appreciate any information you may have. Thanks.
